Mike Parker Quartet is the newest project by the native New York bassist and composer. Parker's music has been described by critics as 'an ingenious synthesis of all musical genres' and his compositions draw on such wide-ranging influences as Charles Mingus, Radiohead, Maurice Ravel, The Bad Plus, Led Zeppelin, John Coltrane, David Bowie and hip-hop legends A Tribe Called Quest just to name a few.
