CO:LATERAL bol vyvinutý z performatívneho projektu Nuve, ktorý skúmal vzťah medzi tancom a digitálnym umením. Sólo interpretované choreografkou a tanečnicou
Né Barros podnietilo vznik niekoľkých národných a medzinárodných publikácií. Telo sa tu projektovalo a rozšírilo do interaktívnej virtuálnej reality. Interpretačný diskurz vyplývajúci z tohto spojenia si vyžaduje mimoriadny okamih, poetický moment vytvorený z priestoru a tela, zo zmesi realít a obrazov. CO:LATERAL evokuje moment umierania labute ponorenej do nehmotného priestoru svetla a projekcie, testovaný v realite iluzórneho väzenia.
João Martinho Moura je umelec-výskumník. Jeho záujmy sa zameriavajú na digitálne umenie, inteligentné rozhrania, digitálnu hudbu a výpočtovú estetiku. Má osobitný záujem o vizualizáciu v reálnom čase a o vytváranie digitálnych artefaktov riadených telom. Joao je mimoriadne žiadaným umelcom - len v tomto roku svoje diela prezetoval napr. na celosvetovej prehliadke mediálneho umenia ISEA 2019, v centrále NATO, Centre Pompidou / IRCAM, INL - International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, Art Centre Nabi v Soule.

CO:LATERAL was developed from the Nuve performance project, which explored the relationship between dance and the digital art. Initially presented in 2010, this solo interpreted by choreographer and dancer
Né Barros, gave rise to several national and international publications. Here, the body projected itself and extended itself into a relationship of intimacy with interactive virtual reality. The performative discourse resulting from this connection calls for an extraordinary moment, a poetic moment made of space and body, made of a mixture of realities and images. CO:LATERAL evokes moments of the death of the swan immersed in an immaterial space of light and projection: a phantom of the dance file would now return to test itself in a reality of illusory imprisonment.
João Martinho Moura is an artist-researcher. His interests are focused on digital art, intelligent interfaces, digital music and computational aesthetics. He has special interest in real-time visualization and in the creation of digital artefacts driven by body. João is an extremely sought after artist - only this year he presented his works for example at the media art showcase ISEA 2019, NATO Headquarters, Pompidou Center / IRCAM, INL - International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, Nabi Art Center in Seoul.
